Collection “Water Policy of the European Union” was published, which contains the Directive of the European Parliament and European Union Council No. 2000/60/EC dated October 23, 2000, establishing the foundations for the activity of the community in the field of water policy, translated into Russian.

Collection “Regional Cooperation in Shared Water Resources in Central Asia: Past Experience and Future Challenges”, containing the report on the Third World Water Forum and participation of the delegation from Central Asian states in the Forum, appeared in print in April 2003.

Materials of Central Asian International Scientific-Practical Conference “Ecological sustainability and advanced approaches to water resources management in the Aral Sea basin”, held in Almaty on May 5-8, 2003, were published in the collection of conference proceedings.

The results of researches within the “Integrated Water Resources Management for Wetlands Restoration in the Aral Sea Basin” Project under the NATO “Science for Peace” Program were proclaimed in the monograph titled “South Prearalie — New Perspectives”, issued both in Russian and English.

Collection “Capacity Building for the Aral Sea Basin Drainage Strategy”, which includes materials of the workshop of IPTRID Project towards strategy of sustainable irrigated agriculture with feasible investment in drainage, the Aral Sea Basin, Central Asia, (Tashkent, June 2003) was published at the end of 2003.
