Capacity Building Training on Effectiveness of Deployment of an Online Database at Balancing Sites and Control Stations of Canals and Other Water Bodies

As part of building capacities of water sector practitioners, a training session was conducted on the effectiveness of deployment of an online database at balancing sites and control stations of canals and other water bodies.

The training aimed to develop practical skills in using modern information systems in water monitoring and management. Practitioners from subdivisions of BWO Syr Darya actively participated in the sessions.

During the training, participants explored the principles of developing and maintaining an online database, learned tools for analyzing and processing data, and examined opportunities for automating water management processes. Special emphasis was placed on enhancing the responsiveness of decision-making and minimizing risks associated with the human factor.

At the conclusion, participants highlighted the relevance of topics covered and expressed strong interest in further integrating digital solutions into their daily work. Such training sessions contribute to enhanced water management efficiency, strengthened inter-departmental coordination, and accelerated deployment of modern technologies in the water sector.
