THE 85^th WORLD WATER COUNCIL BOARD OF GOVERNORS MEETING

SIC ICWC participated in the 85^th World Water Council Board of Governors meeting, which was held online on November 28. WWC activities since the last Board meeting in September 2023 and the 5 working groups were discussed. SIC ICWC became a member of the working group "Water for Human and Nature".

Preparation to the 10^th World Water Forum to be held in May 2024 in Indonesia and selection of venue for the next 11th Forum were considered as well. Participation in the forthcoming 28^th Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC (COP 28) to be held from November 30 to December 12 in Dubai (UAE) was also discussed. WWC members, including SIC ICWC, will take part in a number of sessions and side events of COP 28.

The next 86^th Board of Governors meeting will be held in-person in Istanbul in February 2024.
